TYPES OF MEMBERSHIP & FEES FOR 2023-2024

Membership year is from 1st October until 30th September

 

FULL MEMBERS

These members shall have all the privileges of the club including full playing rights, full voting rights, and the use of the links and Clubhouse. Included in this membership class are the following:

 

18 Hole Full Playing Members	These members have full playing rights for 18 holes.	$930
18 Hole Pay and Play Members	These members have full playing rights for 18 holes, with payment of an additional fee each time they attend the course for a round of golf.	$515 + $10 per round
10 Hole Full Playing Members	These members shall have the right to play 10 holes of golf on a daily basis or when a 9 Hole competition is organised.	$515
10 Hole Pay and Play Members	These members shall have the right to play 9 holes of golf on a daily basis, with payment of an additional fee each time they attend the course for a 10 Hole round of golf.	$340 + $5 per 10 Hole round

 

COUNTRY MEMBERSHIP $425*

These members shall be required to hold full membership of another club affiliated with Golf NZ. Country Members shall not have voting rights and shall not be eligible to hold office in the Club or compete for Club trophies

 

* Evidence of membership fees paid to home club may be required.

 

EBOP COUNTRY-MEMBERSHIP $370*

These members shall be required to hold full membership of Whakatane, Kawerau, Te Teko or Opotiki Golf Clubs. Members shall not have voting rights and shall not be eligible to hold office in the Club or compete for Club trophies.

SUSTAINING AND SOCIAL MEMBERSHIP $50

This class of membership is to cater for persons who do not wish to play active golf but who wish to be associated with the Club. They shall have full use of the facilities of the Clubhouse. They shall not have playing rights or voting rights and shall not be eligible to stand for office in the Club.

 

STUDENT MEMBERSHIP $110

Must be studing fulltime and show student ID on signup.

 

18H FLEXIBLE SEASONAL 4 MONTH MEMBERSHIP $440

10H FLEXIBLE SEASONAL 4 MONTH MEMBERSHIP $280

This class of membership is valid for 4 months from start date.  Cannot be reduced to less months nor increased to more months.  Such members shall be entitled to the use of the course and Clubhouse facilities and be entitled to play on any day.  Members in this class shall be eligible to play in Twilight Golf, Christmas and New Year Social events but not in Open or Club Closed tournaments unless they can produce evidence of a current Club Handicap from another club.  Seasonal Members shall not be eligible to vote or stand for office in the Club.  Fees paid by Seasonal Members will be deducted from the full subscription should the Seasonal Member wish to become a Full Playing Member within the duration of their seasonal membership.  Seasonal memberships must be paid in full at the time of application.
