Ohope Beach Golf Links operates a busy 18-hole members course. It is uniquely sited on a narrow finger of land between the ever-changing Pacific Ocean and the beautiful unspoilt Ohiwa Harbour. With stunning views of the ocean and the harbour, we host a variety of events, from golf and charity events to weddings and everything in between. 

Cafe Cook

The Ohope Beach Golf Links has an opportunity for a talented and creative Cafe Cook to join our fabulous team! The position will be to oversee the daily operations of the cafe and provide the highest level of food, coffee, and customer service.

This is a part time position - Minimum of 25-30 hours. The rostered hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (hours may be increased for the right person). 

Responsibilities:

- Be able to plan and prepare delicious and vibrant menus.

- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene. 

- Ensure food control plan standards are followed maintaining stock control and ordering. 

Key Requirements:

- Flexible to work rostered hours which will increase during the summer months and will entail weekend work, tournaments, functions, and twilight dinners. 

- High standard of customer skills.

- Ability to multi task. 

Qualifications that would be beneficial:

- Liquor Control Qualification (LCQ).

- Barista Certifictate
